Nico was born in Armenia, Colombia; has a bachelor in Mechanical Engineer from Universidad de los Andes
with an Msc. in Agricultural Engineering from the Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco, Brazil.
After returning to Colombia after doing the Master’s Degree in Brazil, he leads three fruit production projects
in Armenia Quindío, where he works as agricultural director. Moved by his passion and environmental
commitment, he has managed to make the change from conventional methods of agricultural production to a
clean and friendly agriculture with the environment agriculture. Currently, the projects he leads are governed
by the protocols of GAP (Good agricultural practices) and the management of cultural practices under the
precepts of RainForest. Thanks to his “people skills”, Nicolás manages to have an excellent relationship with
his employees and exercise participative leadership. Now, as agricultural director of Armadillo Botanics, he
has concluded the Master Grower training granted by CCI (Cannabis Compliance Inc).
