Bibiana is the Country Managing Director of Canopy Growth Colombia. Previously, she was co-founder of Colombian Cannabis and EduCannabis Foundation. Under his leadership, Colombian Cannabis formed a team of specialists in this sector, secured the place for production and extraction facilities and obtained all necessary licenses to operate successfully in Colombia and throughout the region.
In July 2018, Colombian Cannabis was acquired by Canopy Growth, becoming the first unit of Canopy Latam under the Canopy Growth Colombia brand. Bibiana continued her leadership role in the new organization, and together with her team, is responsible for overseeing and managing the main production site in El Juncal, Huila, including the construction of extraction facilities and future operations in the country.
Bibiana is a graduate of finance from the University of Central Florida and has an MBA from the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania, a university that belongs to the select group of Ivy League Schools. Previously, he worked for international companies such as Boston Consulting Group, Kimberly-Clark, Siemens and Morgan Stanley. For the past five years, Bibiana was also Co-CEO of the Gold Group, a group of eight companies with a presence in the construction, automotive, insurance, financial, beverage, real estate investment, and solar energy sectors.
